Injury Update On Cowboys Linebacker
He missed Week 16's game with the injury.
Dallas Cowboys linebacker Leighton Vander Esch did some resistance work at practice on Tuesday but was listed as a non-participant.
He is not expected to play on Thursday night against the Tennessee Titans.

Vander Esch continues to deal with a stinger that kept him from playing in last week's win over the Philadelphia Eagles.
If the Cowboys did not have a short week, there's a chance Vander Esch would have been able to make it back in time. Unfortunately, Dallas has a short turnaround and will play on Thursday night, making it unlikely that the talented linebacker plays this week.
In 14 games this season, the twenty-six-year-old has 90 total tackles, one sack, one forced fumble and one pass defended. He is a former first-round pick by the Cowboys in the 2018 NFL Draft.
