Injury Update On Bears Running Back
From Matt Eberflus’ press conference:
— Courtney Cronin (@CourtneyRCronin) December 12, 2022
-Kyler Gordon, Jaquan Brisker are out of concussion protocol. Both “should be all squared away”
-Jaylon Johnson is honorary captain vs. PHL
-Bears still anticipate Khalil Herbert coming back this season. He’s eligible to return Wk 16 off IR
Herbert will first need to be designated for a return from the injured reserve, which will then make him eligible to return to practice.
If the team likes what they see in Herbert's return to practice, then there's a very real chance we see the running back return for Week 16's game against the Buffalo Bills.
The twenty-four-year-old was having a solid season working in a committee with David Montgomery, rushing 108 times for 643 yards and four touchdowns, along with six receptions for 62 yards and one touchdown over 10 games.
