Greenard has missed the past eight games with a calf injury suffered in an October practice. Arnold has been out since sustaining a quad injury in a Week 8 17-10 loss to the Tennessee Titans.
Of the two, Greenard is the more impactful player and the more intriguing long-term prospect. He notched 8.0 sacks and nine tackles for loss in only 12 games for the Texans in 2021 and has the physical tools to grow into an every-down defensive end. Arnold has played primarily special teams over 15 career appearances with the Texans and Philadelphia Eagles.
Greenard initially joined the Texans as their 90th overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft after splitting time at Louisville and Florida. He was a productive player in college, tallying 17.0 sacks and 31.5 tackles for loss over his final two seasons.
