Giants Waive Linebacker

Moving on from ''Mr. Irrelevant.''

The New York Giants have cut linebacker Tae Crowder.

According to Jordan Ranaan of ESPN, the reason for Crowder's release was performance-based. He was inactive for Sunday's game against the Washington Commanders.

The twenty-five-year-old posted ''Free Me'' on his social media a few weeks ago when his role was reduced, but he reportedly said that was just out of frustration and he wasn't really asking out.

In 13 games this season, Crowder has 45 total tackles, one sack, one forced fumble and one pass defended. He is a former seventh-round pick by the Giants in the 2020 NFL Draft.
