Cowboys Wide Receiver Expected To Make Team Debut This Week

He looks poised to make his Dallas Cowboys debut this week.

Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy said Friday that he thinks James Washington is ready to go for Sunday's matchup after what he saw out of the veteran wide receiver at practice this week.

Washington fractured his right foot in a training camp workout in August and has yet to make his Cowboys' debut after he signed a one-year deal with the team this past March.

The twenty-six-year-old is expected to slot in behind CeeDee Lamb and Michael Gallup as the No. 3 wide receiver once he's fully healthy. Last season, across 15 games, Washington recorded 24 receptions for 285 yards and two touchdowns across 44 targets.
