Commanders Talented Safety Trending Toward Missing Week 16

He failed to practice on Thursday.

Washington Commanders safety Kamren Curl is questionable for Week 16's game against the San Francisco 49ers.

Kurl appeared on the injury report earlier this week and was limited on Wednesday before not practicing on Thursday. As a result, the talented safety is trending toward missing this weekend's game.

A loss of the twenty-three-year-old this week would be a massive blow as he's been excellent for the Commanders this season, recording 83 total tackles and one sack across 12 games. If he does indeed miss the game, the 49ers will likely look to take advantage of his absence and test Washington's safeties in coverage.

Curl was Washington's seventh-round pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.
