Wilkins will likely be the team's No. 3 back behind Zack Moss and Deon Jackson after Jonathan Taylor was placed on the injured reserve Tuesday.
Wilkins has bounced between the practice squad and active roster this season, carrying the ball six times for 31 yards along with four receptions for 15 yards. If Jackson or Moss suffer any injury, Wilkins should slot in.
The twenty-eight-year-old is a former fifth-round pick by the Colts in the 2018 NFL Draft.
