Cincinnati Bengals Officially Place Star Tackle On Injured Reserve
The Cincinnati Bengals have been one of the AFC's hottest teams since the return of Ja'Marr Chase, and given their playoff experience gained during their 2021 Super Bowl run, so the last thing they needed was a catastrophic injury.
Unfortunately, that's exactly what happened in Week 16, as La'el Collins, the teams prized off-season free agent acquisition tore his ACL and MCL in the win over New England, and today, the team officially placed him on season ending Injured Reserve, which could spell disaster for Joe Burrow.
During that run a year ago, the teams biggest problem was protecting their young Quarterback, and while it's improved somewhat in 2022 after all the attention they paid to the position in the off-season, it's still a major problem, so now, the Bengals might be in trouble once again.#Bengals placed OT La’el Collins on injured reserve, officially ending his season after his torn ACL injury.
