Bushman will now serve as an emergency depth option to the Chiefs' tight end corps. The twenty-seven-year-old originally joined Kansas City's practice squad back in January 2022, but was let go from the injured reserve after fracturing his clavicle in the team's preseason finale.
Bushman has yet to make his NFL debut. The 6-foot-5, 245-pound tight end was undrafted out of BYU.
