Broncos Place Defensive Lineman On Injured Reserve

Despite trading away Bradley Chubb and finding little to no help from the offence, the Denver Broncos defence has been absolutely elite in 2022 thus far, and while there's a few stars on this unit, they get most of their work done due to underrated, solid performers, with defensive lineman Dre'Mont Jones being the perfect example.

He doesn't get many national headlines and is rarely in the conversation for a Pro Bowl, but in the past three years, Jones has racked up 6.5, 5.5 and 6.5 sacks, showing the consistent production that this team needs, so it's unfortunate that on Saturday, the team placed him on season ending Injured Reserve.

The 2022 season is certainly over for Denver, but as a pending free agent, it's a disappointing end to a promising year for Jones, who will certainly be productive wherever he ends up, and for the Broncos, they are sure to continue dominating teams on the defensive side of the ball for the final four games.
