Bears Wide Receiver Suffers Concussion

It happened in the first quarter.

Chicago Bears wide receiver Equanimeous St. Brown was spun to the turf at the end of a 20-yard catch early in the first quarter and remained on the ground for a bit before going to the team's medical tent and then the locker room.

Now, St. Brown is in the concussion protocol.

With Chase Claypool dealing with a knee injury that forced him to miss Sunday's game, and if St. Brown can't clear concussion protocol in time for Week 16, the Bears could be down to Dante Pettis, Byron Pringle and Velus Jones at wide receiver.

In 14 games this season, the twenty-six-year-old has 18 receptions for 300 yards and one touchdown on 34 targets.

St. Brown is a former sixth-round pick by the Green Bay Packers in the 2018 NFL Draft.
