Ojabo was an All-American at Michigan and highly projected 1st-found pick, but suffered a torn Achilles on his Pro Day. Great news! pic.twitter.com/79n2u3XHwR
Ojabo suffered an incredibly untimely Achilles during his Pro Day in March of this year. Despite the catastrophic injury, the Ravens selected Ojabo 45th overall in the 2022 NFL Draft because of his rare physical tools and incredible combine performance.
Between his injury and limited play in college, Ojabo is a mysterious and tantalizing prospect for the contending Ravens. He only played 14 games over two years for the Michigan Wolverines, but he was highly productive, notching 11.0 sacks, 12.0 tackles for loss, and five forced fumbles. He's a high-ceiling, low-floor pick for the Ravens, but his upside is substantial enough that he could be a difference-maker in the closing portion of the season.
