Baltimore Ravens Quarterback Jackson Misses Another Practice
The Baltimore Ravens are trending towards sitting their star passer for another week. Quarterback Lamar Jackson missed another practice on Wednesday, indicating he's unlikely to play in Week 17's AFC North tilt against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Jackson has been unavailable since spraining his knee in the Ravens' Week 13 10-9 victory over the Denver Broncos. Tyler Huntley took over in that game and has started ever since, amassing 504 net passing yards while throwing one touchdown and two interceptions. The Ravens have averaged a minuscule 11.5 points per game over their last four contests. With Lamar Jackson not practicing again Thursday, it looks like Tyler Huntley will be the Ravens’ QB1 for a fourth straight game.

The Ravens have already clinched a playoff spot, but a loss on Sunday threatens to put them out of the running for the AFC North. At 10-5, they're currently one game behind the 11-4 Cincinnati Bengals. If the Ravens can sneak out a win this week against the Steelers, they'll travel to Cincinnati next week for a matchup that could decide the division. But a loss this week by the Ravens could clinch the AFC North for the Bengals if they can get a win over the Buffalo Bills on Monday Night Football.
