Baltimore Ravens Elevate Young Wide Receiver To Active Roster
The Baltimore Ravens, like every other team in the NFL have been dealing with a tremendous amount of injuries, but the group hit hardest has been the wide receiver unit, who've missed Rashod Bateman and Devin Duevernay for the season, so they've had to look outside the organization for help.
Not only have they had to bring in veteran DeSean Jackson, but they've also added Andy Isabella from the Arizona Cardinals, and after making his debut in Week 16 for 0 catches, he's back again, as the team have officially elevated him to the active roster.
In his fourth year at the NFL level, Isabella has struggled to find consistency, but if the Ravens are to make a run in 2022, they'll need Jackson, Isabella and the rest of their young receivers to step up, if not, Lamar Jackson doesn't stand a chance. The Ravens have signed QB Anthony Brown to the 53-man roster, while elevating WR Andy Isabella and DT Rayshad Nichols from the practice squad for tomorrow’s game against the Steelers.
