Baltimore Ravens Clinch Playoff Spot

The Baltimore Ravens have officially survived the absence of their superstar quarterback Lamar Jackson. With today's 17-9 win over the Atlanta Falcons, the 10-5 Ravens have clinched a spot in the playoffs and still have a chance to win the AFC North. The Ravens benefitted from their AFC North rival Cincinnati Bengals topping the New England Patriots 22-18 this afternoon to complete the clinching scenario. The Ravens are now guaranteed a Wildcard spot and will win the division if they can manage victories against the Pittsburgh Steelers and in Week 17 and the Bengals in Week 18.

Reports emerged today that Jackson could return to practice this week, so all in all, it's been a pretty good day for the Ravens. Hopefully, Jackson can return healthy and well-rested for the playoff run. He has struggled in his previous postseason appearances, winning only one of his four starts while absorbing 19 sacks, fumbling five times, and throwing five interceptions. Maybe the time off will serve him well.
