2 Questionable New England Patriots Offensive Stars Expected to Play in Week 16
The New England Patriots should have their two most important offensive pieces in place when they take the field against the Cincinnati Bengals later today. Running back Rhamondre Stevenson and wide receiver Jakobi Meyers are both expected to play in Week 16 despite being listed on the team's final injury report as "Questionable."
Stevenson has been battling an ankle injury sustained in the Patriots' Week 14 27-13 win over the Arizona Cardinals but hasn't missed significant action. He was spectacular in Week 15's 30-24 loss to the Las Vegas Raiders, rushing for 172 yards on only 19 carries. Meyers missed Week 14 with a concussion but played a typical allotment of snaps last week. He was even prominently involved in the game's unforgettable final play.#Patriots RB Rhamondre Stevenson (ankle) is likely to play despite being listed as questionable, while RB Damien Harris (thigh) is more of a game-time decision, source said. WR Jakobi Meyers (shoulder) is also expected to go.

Stevenson leads the Patriots in rushing yards and catches, and Meyers leads the team in receiving, so their availability will be crucial as the Patriots make a desperate push for the playoffs. At 7-7, the Patriots will likely need a little help to get into the postseason. They'll also need to come through with clutch wins in a tough final slate of games against the Bengals, Miami Dolphins, and Buffalo Bills. The Dolphins and Bills both defeated the Patriots earlier this year by a combined score of 44-17.
