The Tampa Bay Buccaneers' season hasn't quite gone as expected in large part because of the struggles of their offense. They rank 25th in scoring this year despite ranking fifth in passing yards and throwing the fewest interceptions in the league. A league-worst run game that comfortably ranks last in yards per game and yards per attempt carries a lot of blame, but an ugly 30th ranking in red zone percentage and 23rd ranking in third down conversion rate play their part as well. The Bucs defense has held up its end of the bargain, allowing the fifth-fewest points in the league and the ninth-fewest yards, but quarterback Tom Brady will have to lift the offense to at least mediocrity if the team is going to make an impact in the playoffs this year.
As for the Seattle Seahawks, their offense has been one of the league's most pleasant surprises. They rank a shocking fourth in points scored thanks to an efficient, balanced attack that excels through the air and on the ground. Quarterback Geno Smith has his team ranking seventh in the league with his 6.7 net yards per attempt, and rookie Kenneth Walker III leads a rushing attack that ranks third with 5.2 yards per carry. If not for a mediocre defense that has allowed the seventh-most yards in the league, the Seahawks would be an absolute powerhouse.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Seattle Seahawks play in Munich, Germany this Sunday at 9:30 AM ET in Week 10.
