As Josh Allen goes, so too do the Buffalo Bills. The team has been a powerhouse this season thanks to the quarterback's otherworldly efforts; he leads the league's third-ranked scoring offense in passing and rushing yards. However, an elbow injury suffered against the Jets has him questionable for Sunday's matchup. There's no telling how the Bills offense might look without him if Case Keenum is forced to start at quarterback. If Allen is unavailable, the Bills' top-ranked scoring defense may have to pick up the slack.
Meanwhile, the Minnesota Vikings should be grateful they'll be facing a reduced version of what might be the mightiest opponent they face all season. The Vikings aren't quite as fearsome a team as their 7-1 record suggests. They rank 15th in yards gained and 26th in yards allowed, and they're mediocre or worse in key stats like net yards per passing attempt (20th), rushing yards per attempt (20th), and net yards per passing attempt allowed (27th). They've benefitted from a +6 turnover differential, but if their takeaway and giveaway luck ever turns, the Vikings could find themselves as a deeply flawed team near the top of the NFC standings.
The Minnesota Vikings visit the Buffalo Bills for a Sunday afternoon showdown at 1:00 PM ET in Week 10.
