Vikings Ruled Out DT For Week 9
The Minnesota Vikings have ruled out defensive tackle Dalvin Tomlinson for their Week 9 outing against the Commanders.
Tomlinson, who missed practice all week with a calf injury, was unable to get healthy enough for Sunday and as a result head coach Kevin O'Connell ruled him out for Sunday during his Friday presser, per ESPN's Kevin Seifert.
The 28-year-old defensive end has 21 tackles, a forced fumble, and 1.5 sacks throughout his 2022-23 campaign thus far.
O'Connell also added that their tight end Irv Smith Jr. is leaning towards a potential surgery on his injured ankle. He is currently on IR, but avoiding surgery would give him the best chance to play for the Minnesota club later this season.
