Vikings Cornerback Placed On Injured Reserve
The Minnesota Vikings are off to a fantastic start thus far in 2022, and while they've been solid on both sides of the ball, it's the defensive unit that has stood out the most, but ahead of their blockbuster showdown with the AFC leading Buffalo Bills in Week 10, they've had to place talented young cornerback Cam Dantzler on Injured Reserve.
This is reportedly due to an ankle injury he's been dealing with in recent times, but thankfully for Minnesota, it's not considered serious, just enough to knock him out of the next four games as the Vikings look to extend their incredible 7-1 start to the 2022 campaign. The #Vikings are placing CB Cam Dantzler on Injured Reserve, knocking him out four games because of an ankle injury, source said. Dantzler was a third round pick of the Vikings back in 2020, and since that point, he has racked up 142 tackles, 3 forced fumbles, 2 fumble recoveries, 16 pass deflections and 3 interceptions, and while he's not considered a star receiver in the NFL, he has been more than solid, and his absence will certainly be noticeable for Minnesota.
