Titans To Stick With Offensive Coordinator

After the Tennessee Titans big Thursday Night Football win over the Green Bay Packers in Week 11, the offensive coordinator Todd Downing was arrested on charges of a DUI, which led many people to believe that he would be relieved of his duties, but today, Head Coach Mike Vrabel announced that he would stay on as the offensive play caller going forward.

Obviously, that can change when the legal process begins to unravel, but right now, Downing's job is safe going forward, and for a Titans team that's making an impressive charge to an AFC South crown, they'll need all hands on deck.

The team has won seven of their past eight games, and a lot of that has to do with the way they've run the ball with Derrick Henry, but with Ryan Tannehill back, they've opened up the playbook well in Downing's second year as the offensive coordinator, but the only thing that matters for this team is the playoff performance.
