Texans Receiver Back At The Facility After Missing Thursday Night Football

The Houston Texans made a shocking move at the NFL Trade Deadline by not moving star receiver Brandin Cooks, and given the way he spoke out about it on Twitter, it was safe to say that it was a very strange situation all around. He was absent from practice throughout the week, and eventually missed the teams Thursday Night Football loss to the Philadelphia Eagles, but today, it appears that the situation is beginning to smooth over, as he returned to practice today.

There's no indicator yet that he's happy, but he has at least rejoined the team, and going forward, if he wants to be moved at some point throughout the off-season, he will likely try to be as professional as possible and continue to give his best for the rest of the 2022 campaign.

The veteran receiver has racked up over 8,000 yards and 47 Touchdowns throughout his career, but with an $18 million price tag, no teams were able to make a move for him at the deadline. This is certainly a situation worth monitoring, but given how upset he seemed to be post deadline, the fact that he is back is a big step forward in returning to the team and being ready to go in Week 10.
