Texans Defensive Tackle Not Expected To Play Week 9
He missed Sunday's matchup against the Tennessee Titans.
Now, Houston Texans defensive tackle Maliek Collins is not expected to play in Thursday's game against the Philadelphia Eagles.
Collins wasn't able to suit up versus the Titans in Week 8, and though he's making progress in his recovery from a chest injury, it looks as though he's headed towards missing a second straight contest.
Lovie Smith says “we’ll see,” in regards to Nico Collins and Maliek Collins being able to play Thursday. Collins has a Chest injury and Collins has a groin injury.

If the veteran tackle does miss Thursday's game, he will then have an additional 10 days to get healthy before the Texans Week 10 game against the New York Giants.
So far this season, the twenty-seven year old has 12 tackles (six solo) and one pass defended through six games.
