Saints Rule Out Veteran Defensive End
The New Orleans Saints have certainly been one of the biggest disappointments in the NFL thus far in 2022, with a 3-7 record through 10 weeks, and now, the injury toll continues to build, as they've now officially ruled out one of their biggest pieces on the defensive side of the ball for a must-win Week 11 game against the Los Angeles Rams.
That veteran would be Cameron Jordan, who has been with the Saints since back in 2011, and losing him is a big loss for a promising Saints defence, as he's racked up 5.5 sacks in 2022, bringing his career total with New Orleans up to a staggering 112.5.
Shockingly, this is the very first game in his illustrious career that he will miss due to injury (with him also missing one due to Covid during the pandemic), which proves just how reliable he has been for New Orleans over that time. Unless the Saints can get hot in the back half of the 2022 season, their season could be over, making this one an injury that could for all intents and purposes, end the Saints disappointing 2022 season. The #Saints ruled out DE Cameron Jordan (eye) for Sunday's game vs. the #Rams. Will be the first time Jordan has missed a game due to injury in his 12-year career.

He's only missed one game and it was due to COVID.
