Roby was placed on the injured reserve on Oct. 25 after he injured his ankle in Week 7 against the Arizona Cardinals.
The cornerback has missed the minimum of four games, and the Saints now have a 21-day window to add him to the active roster before he reverts to the IR for the rest of the season.
So far this season, the thirty-year-old has 20 total tackles, one fumble recovery and two passes defended over seven games. Roby is a former first-round pick in the 2014 NFL Draft by the Denver Broncos.
