Ravens Star Tight End Officially Out For Monday Night Football

The Baltimore Ravens have had a fantastic start to the 2022 season, and they've done so despite injuries issues all over the offence, and after placing Rashod Bateman on season ending Injured Reserve during the week, they've received some even more bad news ahead of their crucial Monday Night Football matchup with the New Orleans Saints.

All-Pro tight end Mark Andrews has now officially been ruled out of the game, after dealing with several injuries over the past few weeks, most notably a knee and a shoulder injury, and given how crucial he is to this offence, it makes sense to give him an extra week to recover, as they will have their bye week following the MNF matchup with New Orleans.

Very impressively, this is the first time in Andrews' five year career that he will miss a game with an injury, and it will now be on rookie tight end Isaiah Likely to step up and take his place, who hauled in 6 catches for 77 yards and a Touchdown a week ago. They'll also get DeSean Jackson active to provide Lamar Jackson another weapon, and if they are to be a genuine playoff contender in 2022, this is an injury they can certainly overcome.
