Ravens Receiver To Miss The Rest Of 2022
The Baltimore Ravens are off to a great start in 2022, with a 5-3 record and sole possession of first place in the AFC North, but their injuries continue to pile up, and today, in devastating fashion, they had to reveal their worst one yet, as wide receiver Rashod Bateman will officially undergo season ending surgery, according to Head Coach John Harbaugh.
Bateman has been dealing with a foot injury for the majority of the season, and it's cost him multiple games so far, and now, it looks like the Ravens are going to bite the bullet and allow him to get completely healthy, even though it means missing the rest of the year. The team signed veteran DeSean Jackson as a free agent a matter of weeks ago, which looks like a crucial move now, as the rest of the depth chart on the outside will be Devon Duvernay, Demarcus Robinson and James Proche.Coach Harbaugh announces Rashod Bateman will have surgery: pic.twitter.com/JixEi8Sib5

In six games this season, Bateman will end his sophomore year with 15 catches, 285 yards and 2 Touchdown's, and while this is certainly a devastating injury, he's shown that when healthy, he can be a solid receiver for this Ravens team, so expect him to be healthy and at his best once again in 2023.
