Rams Waive Young Safety
To say that the Los Angeles Rams have been a disappointment in 2022 would be a massive understatement, as the team has started the season 3-5 following their first Super Bowl victory since returning to Los Angeles, and now, after not being able to shop him at the NFL Trade Deadline, the Rams have released former third-round draft pick Terrell Burgess.
Burgess has played in 30 games with the team since 2020, and while he hasn't had much of a statistical effect on the team, he's been a solid presence at the back end of the defence, and provided fantastic depth to an incredible defence. Now, he will head to waivers and see if a team picks him up, because at 23-years of age, he still has plenty of time to be an effective player and potentially even starter in the NFL going forward. The #Rams waived former third-round pick DB Terrell Burgess, who they shopped at the trade deadline.

The Rams themselves have dug into a very deep hole thus far in 2022, and unless this offence can turn it around, they won't have a shot to defend their Super Bowl crown, but either way, Terrell Burgess won't be a part of it.
