Rams Waive Starting Running Back
While there's been some poor performances in the NFL thus far in 2022, the Los Angeles Rams have undoubtedly been the most disappointing, as they are all but eliminated from playoff contention by Week 11, and now, they've made a shock decision, as the team today officially waived running back Darrell Henderson Jr., who has started 7 out of 10 games for the team in 2022.
With the issues surrounding Cam Akers, he became the starter and put up 385 All-Purpose yards and 3 Touchdowns on the season, but now that Akers has returned and standout rookie Kyren Williams is contributing, it made one of the players expendable, but no one expected them to make a move at this point in the season.Darrell Henderson had started 28 games for the Rams over the past three seasons, including 7 of 10 this season.

Given his production over the past two seasons (600+ yards in each of the last two years), he will no doubt be picked up by a team in the coming days, and if he can join a playoff team, he'll certainly turn into a contributor to a winning team in the coming weeks.
