Rams Second-Year Quarterback Could Start Sunday

He took over for Matthew Stafford late in the third quarter in Sunday's game.

Los Angeles Rams quarterback Bruce Perkins is expected to take first-team reps at quarterback and potentially start Sunday's game against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Perkins relieved QB Matthew Stafford with 5:47 remaining in the third quarter and completed five of 10 passes for 64 yards with no touchdowns or interceptions. He also rushed five times for 39 yards.

With backup QB John Wolford also dealing with injury, Perkins could very well be called upon to make his first career NFL start on Sunday against the Chiefs.

The twenty-five-year-old is in his second NFL season.
