Rams QB To Enter Concussion Protocol
The Los Angeles Rams were expected to be a major contender once again in 2022 following their first Super Bowl win since returning to the city of Los Angeles, but unfortunately, their season thus far has been an absolute disaster, with the last second meltdown against Tampa Bay being an exact personification of how it's been going thus far.
Unfortunately, it seems that life for this team is about to get even worse, as starting Quarterback Matthew Stafford has today officially entered the NFL's concussion protocol, and with a key divisional matchup against the Arizona Cardinals ahead on Sunday, they'll need him to be ready to go for that one.
It's uncertain right now what triggered this entry into the concussion protocol, as Stafford finished the game against Tampa Bay last Sunday, but with the extra care being taken by the NFL following the Tua Tagovailoa situation earlier in the year, this could just be them exercising caution, either way, this is a situation that certainly bears monitoring going forward.Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford is in the concussion protocol, per Sean McVay.
