Rams Defensive Tackle Out For The Season
The Los Angeles Rams have been the most disappointing team in the NFL thus far in 2022, having seemingly already been knocked out of the playoffs in their defence of their Super Bowl Championship a year ago, and now, the wheels have begun falling off with plenty of injuries.
On top of Cooper Kupp and Matthew Stafford both being out, Head Coach Sean McVay today announced that due to a meniscus injury, defensive tackle A'Shawn Robinson will miss the rest of the season, which is another blow to this talented roster. Robinson was a second round pick back in 2016, and since that point, he has racked up 278 tackles, 7 sacks, 17 pass deflections, 1 interception and 1 defensive Touchdown, and can serve as a solid depth piece in the NFL in 2022.
Sure, the Rams have Aaron Donald on the defensive line, so they'll still be fine in that regard, but the Rams have been nothing short of dreadful in 2022, and now, they are down yet another talented body for a potentially yet very, very unlikely playoff run from here on out.More injury news for the #Rams: Coach Sean McVay tells reporters that DT A'Shawn Robinson tore his meniscus and is out for the season. He's having surgery.
