Positive Update On Chargers Wide Receiver
The Los Angeles Chargers have just had no injury luck on the offensive side of the ball this year, with both Keenan Allen and Mike Williams both missing significant time, and after they both returned for the Week 11 clash with the Kansas City Chiefs, Williams is once again dealing with injury issues.
Williams left the game with an ankle injury, and after the game, there were fears around the Chargers organization that it could be a big issue, and while he may still end up missing some time, Head Coach Brandon Staley gave the fans some fantastic news today. He confirmed that Williams aggravated the high-ankle sprain that's been keeping him out in recent times, but thankfully for the Chargers, it's not expected to be a significant injury.
The Week 11 loss dropped Los Angeles back to 5-5 on the season and currently sitting on the outside of the playoff race looking in, and unless Williams and this entire offence can get healthy and on the same page, it might be yet another disappointing finish for the Chargers.Brandon Staley says that WR Mike Williams aggravated his high ankle sprain, but it is not considered significant and that they'll know more in the coming days regarding availability.
