Positive Injury Update On New York Jets Running Back
Over the past few weeks, the NFL has seen a massive increase of ankle injuries, with several notable players going down with high ankle sprains, and after Michael Carter missed the second half of the Jets 31-14 win over the Chicago Bears, there were certainly fears that he had suffered the same fate.
Thankfully for this talented young team, Carter suffered a low ankle sprain, and the best case scenario for that injury would mean a return in Week 13 as the Jets face one of their toughest matchups of the 2022 season, as they take on the 9-2 Minnesota Vikings.Coach Saleh says RB Michael Carter has a low ankle sprain and could potentially play this week. pic.twitter.com/V58u0XdBr0

On the season in his sophomore campaign at the NFL level, Michael Carter has accumulated 370 yards on the ground, along with 3 Touchdowns, and has added 209 receiving yards, and while he was passed over as the starter by breakout talent Breece Hall, it's clear that going forward when Hall gets healthy, this is going to be one of the best running back duos in the league.
