Philadelphia Eagles Reveal What Wide Receiver Played Through On Sunday Night
A.J. Brown may not have had a big game in the Philadelphia Eagles win over the Green Bay Packers in Week 12, but he did haul in 4 catches for 46 yards and a Touchdown, contributing to the teams win, which allowed them to keep pace at the top of the NFC East division.
Today, it's been revealed exactly what went into Brown's 'do not practice' designation late in the week, and given his condition, it's an incredibly impressive feat that he was even able to play in the primetime matchup.
According to reports, Brown lost 7 pounds late in the week from his illness, and dealt with a busted blood vessel in his eye that occurred while throwing up, and began the game feeling ill, so if the Eagles can get this type of production out of him while dealing with all of this, when everyone is healthy, this is a team that will be tough to stop down the stretch. It took a lot for A.J. Brown to play tonight. He has a busted blood vessel in his eye from from throwing up. He lost roughly 7 pounds from being sick. He actually wasn’t feeling well until the second quarter.
