Second-year DT Daviyon Nixon will start vs. the Ravens.
Ioannidis exited last Thursday's win over the Atlanta Falcons due to a calf injury and he was seen in a walking boot after the game.
Although the clarity of the injury has not been revealed, Ioannidis will be forced to miss at least one game as a result.
The twenty-eight-year-old has 23 total tackles, one sack and one forced fumble over nine games in his Panthers debut.
