Panthers Announce Starting QB
The Carolina Panthers clearly have some talent on their team, based on some performances we've seen in 2022, but unfortunately, their QB situation has been an absolute nightmare, and just when they thought they'd found stability in PJ Walker, he goes down, leaving both Baker Mayfield and Sam Darnold as the two names fighting it out for the starting job.
In Week 11, they went with Baker Mayfield, but after yet another struggling start, where the Panthers mustered just 3 points agains the Ravens, the team has made yet another change, as they officially announced that Sam Darnold will regain his spot as the starter against elite Denver Broncos defensive unit.
Darnold was the 2021 starter for Carolina, and struggled to put together a solid campaign, but with some solid weapons and an improved run game, this team has the chance to win some games if they can get good play from their QB, so this week, it's Darnold's turn to see if he can be a good, stable performer for Carolina.Sam Darnold to start at quarterback on Sunday vs. Broncoshttps://t.co/x9V1PSyvAO
