Packers QB Confirms Hand Injury
The Green Bay Packers have not looked at all like themselves in 2022, falling to a 4-7 record, good for third place in the NFC North, and with a tough schedule ahead, there's a very good chance that the back-to-back MVP Aaron Rodgers will be missing the playoffs in 2022.
While there's likely plenty of reasons for such a struggle, one of the biggest was the hand injury suffered by Rodgers back in the Week 5 loss to the New York Giants, and today, Rodgers himself confirmed that his right thumb was broken during that game, and has been dealing with it ever since.
Without top weapons on the outside, the game has been a struggle enough for this Packers offence, but when you add in a broken thumb to the throwing hand of your starting QB, the struggles begin to make even more sense, and while the 2022 season is close to over for Green Bay, they have a good shot at bouncing back in 2023 if Rodgers can fix his thumb and the team can find some weapons for him.Aaron Rodgers confirmed today his right thumb has been broken since Week 5, when the injury happened on the last play in London.

Here he is talking about it for a bit. Surgery has never been a thought and it won’t be after the season, either, he said. pic.twitter.com/FbbMOkXYtc
