Barnes landed on the injured reserve after he suffered an ankle sprain during the season opener, and he's now been cleared to return to practice.
The Packers have 21 days now to reinstate him to the active roster before he reverts to the injured reserve.
The twenty-four-year-old linebacker is in his second NFL season. For his career, Barnes has played 29 career NFL games, recorded 161 tackles (106 solo), two sacks, one forced fumble, two fumble recoveries and four passes defended.
The 3-5 Packers will welcome all the help they can get right now.
