NFL Three Stars For Week 10: Running Back
The running back position is one that's seen plenty of new stars emerge in 2022, with young talent stepping up to show the future of the league is in great hands, but in Week 10, it was the proven, established stars that put on the best performances. From dual threat stars to hard running backs, the NFL saw some great shows this weekend, but the best three names are here on our list for three stars in Week 10 at the running back position.
3. Aaron Jones
Stat line: 24 carries, 138 yards, 1 Touchdown, 2 catches, 18 yards.
The Green Bay Packers finally broke out of their five game slide, and the main reason for this is that the offence finally ran through the Packers star backfield, and it was Aaron Jones that was the beneficiary of the extra touches. Jones may have only taken in one score, but he racked up over 150 yards, and if he continues this, the Packers have a good shot at making a playoff run.
2. Jonathan Taylor
Stat line: 22 carries, 147 yards, 1 Touchdown, 2 catches, 16 yards.
Jonathan Taylor was the NFL's best running back a year ago, but has mostly disappointed thus far in 2022, with Week 10 the first time he looked like himself all year long. Taylor racked up over 150 all-purpose yards en route to a win in Jeff Saturday's coaching debut, and with physicality and explosiveness, there's no reason he can't keep it up.
1. Saquon Barkley
Stat line: 35 carries, 152 yards, 1 Touchdown, 1 catch, 8 yards.
2022 was expected to be a big bounce back year for the former No. 2 overall pick, but no one could have quite expected it to be this good, as Barkley is a shoe in for Comeback Player of the Year in the NFL. Barkley once again carried the New York Giants to victory, and despite the lack of elite talent, the Giants are looking fantastic thus far in 2022, and if Barkley's body holds up, this team is in line for a great playoff run.
