NFL Rumors: Two Dark Horse Teams For Free Agent Receiver Revealed
For months now, the saga surrounding Odell Beckham Jr. and his next team has dragged on, and while it's not his fault, as he is still fighting to get healthy, which will reportedly come this week as he is predicted to be cleared for practice, that means all the talking, all the rumours and all the questions can finally be put to rest. Over the past few weeks, the teams that have been linked to OBJ are Dallas, Green Bay, The Los Angeles Rams, Tampa Bay and Buffalo, but in recent times, there's been two dark horse teams emerging.
According to Fox Sports, those two teams are the San Francisco 49ers and his former team, the New York Giants, and with both pushing to make playoff runs in 2022, either could be a possibility as his next team, but at this point, it's anyone's guess where the star wide receiver ends up.
Whether or not either of these teams are genuinely interested isn't yet known, but they've been listed as teams having internal discussions about the possibility, as well as having genuine shots at the playoffs and a successful run, but with the time winding down on OBJ's recovery, it seems that it's just a matter of weeks, if not days until an official announcement comes out.49ers G.M.
