NFL Rumors: Rams Wide Receiver's Injury Prognosis "Doesn't Sound Good"
Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp appeared to have avoided catastrophe after his frightening Week 10 injury against the Arizona Cardinals. However, ESPN's Adam Schefter shared a pessimistic note Monday night: Kupp has been diagnosed with a high-ankle sprain and appears poised for a lengthy absence.
Kupp had been arguably the lone bright spot on what has been an ugly season for the Rams offense. His 812 receiving yards through 10 games are more than double any other pass catcher on the team. Despite his sustained excellence, the 3-6 Rams rank 29th in scoring, 31st in yards gained, and 28th in giveaways.Rams’ WR Cooper Kupp suffered a high ankle sprain Sunday vs. the Cardinals, per one source. Another familiar with his prognosis said it “doesn’t sound good.”

Should Kupp miss significant time, an already poor Rams offense could reach new depths of ineptitude in the coming weeks. Of the Rams' top six leading receivers, Kupp is the only pass catcher to exceed 6.3 yards per target. His absence could easily sink the Rams' season.
