NFL Rumors: Chiefs Preparing Receiver To Play In Week 9
He's hasn't played since Week 2.
The Kansas City Chiefs are preparing wide receiver Kadarius Toney to play in Sunday night's game against the Tennessee Titans.
Coach Andy Reid said, ''We'll try to work him in. He's a smart kid. He's been with us a couple days, so we've had a chance to talk to him. He picks things up fairly easily.''
The Chiefs traded for Toney last week.

Meanwhile, Toney who's missed a decent amount of time this season with a hamstring injury, is not listed on the Chiefs' Week 9 injury report. With his hamstring injury no longer a major issue at this point, the former first-rounder seems likely to suit up this weekend, however, with JuJu Smith-Schuster, Marquez Valdes-Scantling and Mecole Hardman also in the team's receiver mix, Toney would figure to be eased into the role.
