NFL Rumors: Cardinals Claim DT From Cowboys Waivers
The Arizona Cardinals have reportedly claimed defensive tackle Trysten Hill off the Dallas Cowboys waivers, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero.
The Cowboys, who drafted Hill as a second-rounder in 2019, previously released the 24-year-old on Tuesday after being unable to find a suitor before the eventual 4 p.m. deadline.
Hill entered the final year of his rookie deal and struggled to get into the starting rotation, as he never played more than seven games in a season.
Hill had 33 combined tackles, and 0.5 sacks in his four year stint with the Cowboys. He will be looking to turn things around as he joins an Arizona club, who currently resides with a record of 3-5, and ranks 27th in points allowed with 176.
