NFL Rumors: Bills Quarterback Questionable for Week 10
The Buffalo Bills lost to their AFC East rival New York Jets 20-17 in Week 9, but that divisional loss may be the least of their worries. According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, quarterback Josh Allen is dealing with an elbow injury that may cost him Week 10's game against the Minnesota Vikings.
From @GMFB: #Bills QB Josh Allen is dealing with a sprained right elbow, sources say, a UCL injury that will limit him this week. While it’s no sure thing that Allen plays vs the #Vikings, belief is it’s an injury he can manage moving forward. How he responds this week is key. pic.twitter.com/86HQb0Kdzz

Allen suffered the injury in Sunday's game and played through it to mixed results. The 17 points and 317 total yards the Bills offense managed were a season low, and Allen's two interceptions, five sacks, and 46.8 passer rating were all his worst marks of the season.
The Vikings are one of the NFL's elite teams at 7-1, so the Bills will likely need to be at full strength if they want to avoid their third loss. The AFC East has proven surprisingly competitive this year: the Miami Dolphins and New York Jets are both 6-3 and have won their first of two matchups with the Bills. Any absence or diminished play by Allen could very well cost the Bills the division.
Allen initially joined the Bills as their seventh overall pick of the 2018 NFL Draft. After two middling seasons to open his career, he broke out as one of the league's premier dual-threat quarterbacks in his spectacular third year. He has compiled 11354 passing yards, 1576 rushing yards, and 110 combined touchdowns over 41 starts since 2020. He remains a favorite for the MVP this season so long as he doesn't miss time or regress severely due to his injury.
