Las Vegas Raiders Tie Ugly NFL Record
The Las Vegas Raiders slumped to 2-6 on the season with a loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars, despite an incredible performance from Davante Adams, and it was yet another one where they held a lead of over 17 points and ultimately went on to lose, and it's safe to say that they are likely the biggest disappointments in the NFL thus far through 9 weeks.
That must be hard enough for a team that came into 2022 with plenty of expectations based around this potentially explosive offence, but now they've officially tied the record for most games in a season lost while at some point holding a 17 point lead with 3, and at this point, there's very little they can do to turn it around with the Chiefs running away with the division and the Chargers firmly in a Wild Card spot. The Raiders have now lost three games with a lead of at least 17 points this season.

That’s tied for the record for the most such losses by any team in a single season in NFL history.
With the trio of Adams, Waller and Renfrow with Josh Adams in the backfield, many expected this team to genuinely contend for the division, and at worst, an AFC Wild Card spot, but with so many questions now through nine weeks, it's tough to see where this organization is headed if they can't go on a massive win streak to end the year, and this record is the perfect example of why they've failed in 2022.
