Injury Update On Packers Rookie Wide Receiver
He was forced out of Sunday's game early.
Green Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur said that rookie wide receiver Christian Watson did not suffer a concussion during Sunday's loss to the Detroit Lions.
LaFleur said that Watson ''took a nice shot to the chest and lost his breath for a minute,'' but he cleared the concussion protocol.
Christian Watson did *not* get diagnosed with a concussion yesterday, LaFleur says. Keeping him out was precautionary after getting one vs. Buffalo. LaFleur said Watson took a hit to the chest and lost his breath. He cleared concussion protocol already.

Watson was shut down from the rest of the game for precautionary reasons, given he suffered a head injury in Week 8's game against the Buffalo Bills.
The good news is there doesn't sound like there will be any lingering effects from the hit leading up to the Packers' Week 10 game against the Dallas Cowboys.
The twenty-three-year-old has 10 receptions for 88 yards on 14 targets in six games this season.
