Injury Update On Browns Tight End
He expressed optimism earlier this week that he would play in Week 10 against the Miami Dolphins.
Cleveland Browns tight end David Njoku was a non-participant at the team's second Week 10 practice report.
Njoku was seen working off to the side during Thursday's practice, however.
#Browns TE coach TC McCartney on David Njoku: We'll see today what he looks like. I know he's hopeful. ... The next few hours, we want to see.

The tight end hasn't practiced since suffering a high-ankle sprain in the Brown's Week 7 loss to the Baltimore Ravens, but he remains hopeful to be available this Sunday in a big matchup against the Dolphins.
However, if Njoku intends to play, his participation in some during Friday's practice is necessary.
Regardless, the twenty-six-year-old will likely carry an injury designation into the weekend.
A return of the tight end this week for the Browns would be huge, as Njoku has put up 418 yards and a touchdown on 34 receptions this season.
