Njoku was held out of Week 8 due to a high-ankle sprain he suffered in Week 7. The bye week appears to have helped the tight end as he is now optimistic that he'll be able to suit up in Week 10.
Njoku is in the midst of a breakout season, hauling in 34 catches for 418 yards and one touchdown on 42 targets over seven games this season. He's on pace to break his career-high number from a year ago, which was 36 receptions for 475 yards.
The twenty-six-year-old is a former 1st-round pick by the Browns in the 2017 NFL Draft.
