Eagles Tight End Will Miss Extended Time
The Philadelphia Eagles suffered their first loss of the season on Monday Night Football against the division rival Washington Commanders, but unfortunately for this talented offence, it wasn't the only loss that they suffered.
Star tight end Dallas Goedert has suffered a shoulder injury that will keep him out for an extended, but yet undisclosed amount of time, and while it's not expected to be a season ending one, it's going to severely hurt this offence. The Eagles now sit at 8-1, and with both Dallas and New York right on their heels in the NFC East, they can't let this loss effect them, as they'll be caught up too immediately, but it's safe to say that Goedert is one of the key players on this offence, and losing him is massive.
To add insult to injury, this injury occurred on a massive missed face mask call that could have changed the fortunes of the game for Philadelphia, but now, they have to look forward and continue their winning ways until Dallas gets back, and they'll certainly have a good playoff run ahead of them.#Eagles TE Dallas Goedert will miss extended time with a shoulder injury suffered in the win over the #Commanders last night, sources tell me and @TomPelissero. Not a season-ender though. Injury added to insult on the play with the missed facemask that put him in harm’s way. pic.twitter.com/ndOPCiwKD2
